Dear Pastor,
I would like to thank you for stopping by the Justice and Worship site. I remember a few years ago when I was thinking about starting Steps of Justice I had an image of myself standing at the foot of Mount Rainier. As I stood there I clearly heard God say to me “Could you climb to the top of this mountain?” I responded by saying “There is no way that I could climb to the top. I’m not skilled as a climber and I am not in very good shape.” Then I heard God say “Just start walking, start taking steps.” This is where Steps of Justice was born.
We are excited to share with you this fall what we see as the heart of God towards justice and His people doing justice (Micah 6:8). My family and another couple who work with Steps of Justice are going to be rolling through the mid west from March through May 2012 sharing on justice issues and Gods call on His Church to do justice. We will do this through teaching, media, story and musical worship. We have faith that God is going to challenge not only the communities we serve in, but also us as a team.
Throughout the night we will incorporate some of the resources that we have put out with Steps of Justice. Specifically the 30 day Prayer & Action Guide, and the My Next Step Is site.
